the time has come.....

we are terribly sad. we just cry, cry, cry.

our whole persona known as 3G is coming to a halt this week-- because WE ARE MOVING OUT. time for summer. time for more 21st birthdays, lots of beach laying, summer concerts, driving with the windows down, and great visits from our 3G sisters.
Next thing you know, 3G will conquer B-BLOCK at the senior townhouses-- and next year will probably be just as great-- probably better, because we will be in  housesand seniors. (But, we don't talk about the period after being seniors. I think we can safely say all of 3G was born to be in college...forever. We thrive at college, living together, sharing clothes, sharing EVERYTHING, KNOWING everything, and just being pals.)

shout out to our loyal followers, as we promised- susan hayne cobb, taylor morgan, blythe reynolds, callie neal, ashton avent, chelsea elliott,  and ann wilson. you all rock. loved us some visits- some chats and some pictures.

Without any further waiting, we know you've been waiting for a great blog so we've compiled a list-- an epic 3G list, if you will. This is what we have successfully and not-so-successfully done while living on the Third Floor of the beautiful Grotnes Hall.  We have left out a few that are secrets kept safe with the sisters.(we've removed some of the names of our sisters... just to save further humiliation)

• successfully ruined 4 cell phones due to toilets.
• had one cell phone "stolen"
• acquired four new boyfriends
• acquired TWO TOWNHOUSES on b-block
• dyed a sister's hair green, then brown, oh then bright blonde again.
• a sister had her car taken away
• successfully left a sister in the parking lot of bi-lo
• thrown our cell phones around pretending they were batons
• successfully monogrammed sash on a formal dress
• gained a 30 year old stalker cruisin' on a ship
• "losing" a st. mary's ring
• searching with cell phones for a st. mary's ring
• finding a st. mary's ring (LITERALLY PRAISE GOD!!)
• falling mulitple times in the same night....on top of other sisters.
• vomiting in beds, bath tubs, parking lots, and many a pottys
• lots and lots of birthday kisses
• 3G THANKSGIVING FEAST
• an april fools break up. true life.
• a "broken" elbow
• passing out...while on the toliet
• our new favorite beer- pomegranate raspberry michelob ultra
• a few visits from some puppies
• one sister getting into MUSC!!!....and leaving us early.
• barefoot hopping in fraternity houses, normal.
• an awesome sugarland concert
• organizing emily's t-shirts!!!!
• great and eventful visits from sarah beth
• many trips to grab some sushi
• a movie night out sitting in the same theater as marge and her "giggle"
• two very successful sorority formals
• the hamburgerler
• the epic party that was--80s.
• 23 days held captive after the snow storm of 11.
• dancing in a unitard. an all white unitard.
• heard dat's at 4am
• locked doors
• we've been experts at articulating the phrase "but, I don't have any money."
• moving a sister's car- without her knowing
• 94 nasty meals in gdh
• a bolted in the door fan
• and some sick smelling air-conditioners.

Good luck to all of you living on 3G next year, you sure do have a legacy to live up to. Here are some pictures to summarize our beautiful and fun filled year living together.

GO HANNAH!!!!

Tonight, Hannah was in the Vagina Monoglogues. Here at PC, it's Domestic Violence Awareness week and so the whole hall went out to support and laugh with Hannah at the monologues!

Hannah's the coolest one in the middle. She's probably so thankful we took videos during her entire monologue. This is the last part about what " a vagina would say". All of the giggles--- are coming from our row of 3g supporters.

21st birthdays galore.

Here on 3G, we've been MIA. For a few reasons, the 21st birthday celebrations are about to do us in. Since we last blogged, Mary Brown, Emily and Margaret all turned 21.

Here's the end of Mary Brown's 21st birthday night--coming up the stairs in the hall Mary Brown was loud and needed a whole army to get her up the stairs.

A few updates from the hall--

• we now are proud owners of a wii. Thanks to wilson nickles' 13th birthday we now can play rock band all we want. We got his hand-me-down games. yahoo!
• as of tomorrow, we are officially registering as SENIORS. that's a scary thought.
• half of 3g officially has townhouse b5 next year. we're pumped.
• maria, liz, katie and carrie went to sugarland in greenville last week. stay tuned for videos. we were on the back row in the very top and we had the best time. seriously.
• it feels like a sauna on the third floor of Grotnes, we're ready for campus to turn on the AC!
• WE'RE SO PROUD OF KATE SNEAD FOR GETTING INTO MUSC PHARMACY SCHOOL NEXT YEAR, even though we are going to miss her too much next year.

This past weekend, we celebrated both Emily and Marge's 21st birthdays...with Omar's 29th.

There was a lot of dancing, kissing, and celebrating. We all made it back.. eventually to the hall.

Sarah Beth came to surprise Liz as her ADPi crush party date for 80's prom. they had way too much fun. Liz is a different person with SB around.

Saturday afternoon after the 21st festivities, this is what happened on a sunny afternoon outside of Grotnes.

Emily and Hannah got out of control- once again.

Then, Saturday night, Maria, Liz and Carrie played a trick on Mary Brown. Earlier in the afternoon they moved her car out to fraternity court. We waited to tell her about it until we went out that night-- and she saw it parked in front of a not so hopping frat house.

Marge and Claire went to Spain for spring break, no big deal.

Mary Brown, Kate, Maria and Hannah went on a Cruise- and apparently sang a lot of karaoke.

WE'RE BACK!!! GET EXCITED FOR SPRING BLOGGING! 

snowed in.

Look how beautiful our home is in the snow!

We too, in Clinton South Carolina were affected by the blizzard of 2011. We woke up on Monday morning to the sight of campus covered in thick beautiful snow to which we said, "let's go back to sleep". So on 3G we slept in a little bit on Monday morning before heading out to face the snow head on. We put on every piece of clothing we own. Most wore at least two pairs of pants, three pairs of socks, two shirts, some sort of fleece, a jacket and then a heavy coat. A lot of us didn't have gloves so we were resourceful in using socks over our hands... they didn't stay dry long. 

So we found every sort of flat bottomed item, ie laundry baskets, Tupperware containers, lids, boxes and we took them to the stadium for the great hills. Here we are walking on the main road on PC's campus.. a complete block of ice and snow.

Once we got there, Mary Brown decided to pull some moves out on her own. The snow was a bit too thick and powdery for our likings so we tried every way we could to just get down a durn hill.

We were all just getting frustrated with the lack of sledding, so we went back to the dorm and laid around--- for the next two days. When we got back, it look like the hall had exploded. Every piece of clothing we wore out in the snow was wet and cold so all the wet clothes just laid in the hall, along with our wet boots. We watched a lot of netflix, took very few showers, took personality tests, caught up on our television, played uno, and did the saltine challenge. It's apparently not humanly possible to eat four saltines in one minute. Here's a clip of us trying to do so, you know defeat the odds.

We ate smores, and made messes--- 

Then, the last night before classes were to start back (Wednesday night) Maria, Mary Brown, Emily, Katie and Liz got away for a little while. We had a brilliant idea given to us to take a cookie sheet and sled down the ICE at the stadium. Naturally we couldn't back down from a challenge. So that adventure began with this--Mary Brown falling on our way to the hills....and not being able to get up because of the ice. 

and ended with the brutal and deadly fall of liz on the ice... 

.....with all of this excitement in between. 

They returned with MANY bruises, welps, scratches and bloody scratches. It was all well worth the adventure. 

Happy snowy vacation from 3G-- now back to the real world, PC.

WE'RE BACK IN 2011!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT UP FOLLOWERS!!

3G is back and having a great time being back on the hall together--most of the girls on the hall have pushed their beds together and we currently have multiple king size beds. We've taken turns watching movies and laying around in different beds, you know to change the setting. We've been looking like this in front of the TV-- in all of our glory.

Let's see... we started classes last week, ADPi had their semi-formal Friday night, Theta- Chi had their Christmas Party Saturday- Maria and Mary Brown went to it. We have been dressing up, cleaning up, eating up, and waiting for the snow to hit all weekend!

Kate Snead had her first function on Friday night as a legal 21 year old. Kate was very upset that she had to mop the floors after the semi-formal... She claimed that "she was being treated like a slave, and that people needed to just needed to start calling her Annie." True Life. She said she had blisters all over her hands from mopping the venue. Witnesses claim that Kate mopped an area of 3x4feet. That's almost as big... as a mop. So after Kate has been abused, mistreated, had been called orphan Annie, we told her to go to bed...immediately.

And- here's a picture of Kate at the semi-formal, dancing. Kate doesn't dance-- this is Kate Snead in her rarest form, being dipped and TEARING up the dance floor. 

After thirty minutes of being at the houses, girls were called to come back in and check on Kate. The girls frantically came to Kate's room, and she was missing. They immediately knew where she was- Hannah's king size bed... in her semi-formal dress...crying, a lot. The girls got Kate out of a bed that didn't belong to her, and into her own, and into PJs, to get to sleep! 

Here's a picture of some 3g girls out at the fraternity houses on Friday night! Obviously you can tell we hadn't been out in a while, we are looking mighty WHITE and BRIGHT. We had a great time belting out some Jason DeRulo-- and Emily showing off some straight arm-ed dance moves. 

Saturday Night, disaster. Liz, unpacked quietly in her room while the majoity of the hall came back to 3g in drunken tears. So dumb. But, the girls had fun out to say the very least. Too much fun. Kate and Hannah were RUDE, Mary Brown came in with tears asking Liz to "hold her", doesn't remember why today.

This afternoon, we layed around and watched movies in Hannah's bed.... Here's an arguement that was had by Hannah and Emily. We all love their fights and here's another great one. 

 We had a surprise RAVE TONIGHT for Callie Neal's 20th Birthday!!!! She was brought over blind folded---

and 3G waited patiently for her surprise RAVE thrown by US!! THE BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER!!! Props to Emma Reynolds for taking all of the awesome pictures with her new cam!! 

Callie, we love you and love it when you grace the hall with your presence. We love the spend the nights, and the laughs come our way.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALLIE NEAL. YOU ROCK, LOVE 3G!!!!!!!!!!
