Welcome to 3G!!!!

Hello friensh! (that means friends... we talk in lisps when we are excited...)

We are so excited about our blog. This is to capture the essence of 3G, we sit around and talk about our lives, our weekends, food, our future, our habits, our hot bods, bodily functions,  food, guys that rarely grace our hall, relationships, food, drama, sororities and sometimes school work.

This is to keep a record of living together, to remember stories (maybe) or trying to piece together our nights. Usually, we roll out of bed around noon to rehash our nights....and see who had made it back to their beds. We love living together and are so excited to have all of our memories written down.

First 3G story, a sober one, but a one of drastic proportion including a girl's most prized possesion... hair.
We have a dear psshister (lisp) on the hall who had a dramatic green hair experience. Our sister has had some barbie blonde hair her whole life, the past few years, the blonde has been man-made. She has had her head colored, highlighted, lo lighted, sun in(ed), lemon juiced, peroxided, chlorined... and the list could go on. Well, we had to have an intervention with our girl. She was having a root issue. We were kind about it, sort of, but we had to intervene. We took our broke homegirl to CVS and we bought her some ash dark blonde. We said " sister, this is going to be pssto prechious. And so natural." She was scared, but we convinced her anyway with this seven dollar box of hair dye.

We came back to the dorm, made it a hall event... and we put some color in our girl's hair. We sat, we watched, we tried to match eyebrows, laughed, and almost peed in our panties. Come time, gus gus and slisabetsh were baptizing homegirl in the bathtub. We were rinsing, and wetting our panties.... our girl had some sea green hair. It was bad. She wasn't happy-- and we laughed. She almost cried--we laughed... needless to say she wore a hat all around campus the next day.

We had to make an emergency phone call to Greenville to Augusta Place Salon (864) 241-4003 and Megan did some magic. It was like a rebirth. Our girl was not sure how she was feeling about the dark hair, but now that she's gotten used to the shock of almost ruining her head...she loves it. She's rocking the dark hair, looking all sophisticated, and grown up. She's had a rebirth.

We are so proud... here are some pictures of the process.

Grotnes Lesson of the day: Always trust your friends; but not in the case of dying hair, with a seven dollar (clearance) box of dye.
